At United Martial Arts Center (UMAC), our After-School Martial Arts Program gives working parents peace of mind and gives students a place to belong. We go beyond typical after-school care by combining safe transportation, structured homework time, and daily martial arts classes, all in a positive, disciplined environment that helps kids grow mentally, physically, and emotionally.
What Parents Love About Our Program:
- Safe and Reliable Transportation: We pick up from over 15 local elementary and middle schools and bring students directly to our clean, modern Fort Myers facility.
- Extended Hours to Fit Your Schedule: We’re open until 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. We also cover early dismissals, teacher duty days, and even hurricane makeup days at no extra charge.
- Homework Help: We provide a quiet, supervised space where kids can focus on completing their homework before heading home—saving families time and stress.
- Daily Martial Arts Classes: Every child receives professional martial arts instruction each day, learning self-discipline, coordination, confidence, and respect.
- Black Belt Excellence: Students earn belt ranks through hard work and growth, learning to set goals and take pride in their progress.

“I try to learn every child’s personality,” says Master David Torres, UMAC’s owner and head instructor. “Because they all grow differently, and that’s something to celebrate.”

Our after-school program includes transportation, supervision, structured activities, and martial arts instruction, all at a rate that’s highly competitive with traditional childcare options. We also offer early registration discounts throughout the year.
