What Makes UMAC Camps Different?
We’re not a daycare or a drop-off gym. We’re a martial arts school committed to helping kids grow stronger in every way; physically, mentally, and emotionally. Every camp day is structured around movement, discipline, and mentorship.
Each week includes:
- A minimum of three martial arts classes per day
- Special seminars on topics like Stranger Danger and Bully Prevention
- Leadership development and goal setting
- Character-building activities such as presentations by local law enforcement and fire departments, as well as summer camp field trips.
- Games, crafts, and team challenges
- Wednesday movie days and weekly surprises
- Respect and responsibility lessons that carry over at home
Master David explains, “When your child is here, they’re not just staying busy. They’re learning how to listen, how to lead, and how to be proud of who they are.”
Life Skills That Stick
We teach more than kicks and punches. Our campers develop real-world skills that help them thrive in school, at home, and in social settings. Respect, confidence, and personal accountability are central to every lesson.
Kids also learn:
- How to greet parents with respect and gratitude
- Why helping around the house is part of leadership
- What it means to set personal goals and reach them
- How to handle conflict with self-control and clarity
One of the most powerful things we teach is belief in oneself. As Master David puts it, “That ‘Yes, I can’ mindset doesn’t just build black belts. It builds successful, capable kids who know how to handle life.”
Designed for Working Families
UMAC camps are designed with flexibility and peace of mind in mind. We’re open full days during school breaks, so parents don’t have to scramble for childcare or rearrange their work schedules. Our pricing is affordable, and spots fill quickly, so early registration is encouraged.
